MR.D.I.Y., the nation’s favorite general retailer of home and home improvement, affirmed its commitment to serving and spreading goodwill in its community this year with the participation of two Major partner in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, MR. .DO MYSELF. A-OK (Acts of Kindness) campaign during the media luncheon at Myons Cuisine, Quezon City on February 21.
ABS-CBN’s Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation and TV5’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation have partnered with MR.D.I.Y. via the latter’s A-OK campaign for 2023.
The program will also continue to partner with World Vision, SOS Children’s Villages and GOM Football Center of Excellence.
A-OK is a global corporate social responsibility program in which retailers support and empower communities. This program originated from the Good Bag campaign, where profits from purchases of MR.D.I.Y. Eco bags across the country are eventually donated to partner NGOs. The success of the Good Bag campaign in 2021 prompted the company to expand its CSR program to the A-OK campaign, focusing on four key pillars:
Family welfare, environmental conservation and protection, youth and education, natural disaster prevention.
