Liam Payne, known for his rise to fame as a member of the boyband One Direction, has died at the age of 31. He passed away in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after falling from the third floor of a hotel in the upscale Palermo neighborhood. Authorities found Payne’s body following a call to emergency services on Wednesday.
Payne first gained international fame in 2010 as part of One Direction, formed during the X Factor TV show, alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik. Earlier this month, he had attended a concert in Argentina performed by his former bandmate Niall Horan. The circumstances surrounding his fall remain under investigation.
