ODETTE QUESADA THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

It’s rare for audiences to discover that at a concert, three artists perform a song separately, singing their respective versions: the original singer, the songwriter, and the song’s re-creator.
That’s what happened when the famous ballad “Till I Met You” was performed by pop divas Kuh Ledesma, Odette Quesada and Regine Velasquez, respectively, at Quesada’s 40th anniversary concert on May 1. 9 at the Newport Theater for the Performing Arts.
The audience was unstoppable as they got up and danced as Quesada performed the lively song “Growing Up” featuring Nievera and Lauchenco.
Quesada’s successes are clearly remembered fondly by her legions of fans, even if she was not often seen performing live in the country.
The audience certainly missed her and her songs resonated in their hearts once again.
