The University of the Philippines Psychology Society (UP PsychSoc) stands as the foremost, student-driven psychology organization within UP Diliman, dedicated to advancing interest and understanding in the field of psychology. Through our unwavering commitment to this mission, we have achieved remarkable milestones over the years, spearheading impactful socio-civic and academic initiatives such as the university-wide UP Mental Health Month, Community Development Medical Mission Projects, and the Interaction with Differently Abled Kids (InDAK) program.
This year, we proudly commemorate our 71st Anniversary with a two-month-long celebration featuring a series of engaging face-to-face events including the Family Fest and the Alumni Night. These festivities serve as a testament to the enduring camaraderie shared among our 160+ active members and over 1,100 alumni.
As part of our anniversary celebration, we are embarking on a meaningful endeavor to champion family mental health. Through comprehensive caravans and initiatives tailored to address family dynamics, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of children and parents in the Kaingin Community. Our initiatives include creating safe spaces for children to navigate and express their emotions, as well as offering workshops and programs focused on mental health education for parents.
